For this 2019-2020 return to school, the founder of Finderrance went there in order to best coordinate the 3rd return of Finderrance orphans.
Supply distribution
None of our orphans know this classic back-to-school experience, which begins with shopping at the supermarket with parents. We took stock of the supply needs according to the level of the students. Caches, pens and backpack were given to the children. We have also taken the time to provide schools with books so that they can educate children with more resources.
Distribution of clothing
In Côte d’Ivoire, children must have a uniform to go to school, usually a shirt, khaki pants for boys and a blue skirt and a white shirt for girls in middle school, a plaid dress for girls in the primaries. The purpose of these uniforms is to erase the flagrance of inequality. However, obtaining uniforms is a complicated task for these orphans. We have to wear all kinds of clothes, uniforms and shoes! The happiness in their eyes was the testimony of a satisfied need.
Listening to our orphean
We also took the time to chat with the children. Taking the time to listen is one of our values. During these exchanges, we can perceive and understand their thoughts of the moment, their apprehension, their joy as well as their fear.
Support us in our actions by making a donation or by sending us a moment of encouragement.
